2012 Olympus Rally - Day 2
Subaru Rally Team USA's David Higgins and Craig Drew have piloted their white #1 Subaru STI to second
place at the 2012 Olympus Rally outside of Olympia, WA. Dangerously dry conditions and still air resulted in heavy,
lingering dust. During Saturday's nighttime stages, the poor visibility was compounded by driving lights such that
racers couldn't see the road at all in some sections. "We had an off going literally six miles per hour," Craig Drew
recalled. "I knew we were coming to junctions when I saw the marshals' vests reflecting our headlights, and then it
was brake, brake, brake!," said Higgins.

2012 GRC5 Las Vegas - Pre-Race
Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team USA has set up shop at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, just fifteen miles
from the strip. The hot desert sun was quick to rise as practice got underway on the Global RallyCross (GRC) course.
After an initial course-familiarization session, teams got a crack at the jump. The GRC-spec Subaru STIs flew effortlessly
over the gap and returned to service unscathed, where Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team USA techs went to work making final
preparations for Saturday's race.

slipped away during the final round of the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship. Team drivers Dave Mirra and Bucky Lasek
qualified directly from their heat races to the A Main Final Tuesday evening. Mirra managed to hold off a number of
drivers to finish sixth overall. Lasek, in his second consecutive final didn't finish the race, but drove well throughout
the event. Sverre Isachsen, coming off a podium finish in the most recent GRC event at the Las Vegas Speedway, became
entangled with a number of other cars on the first turn of the opening heat and failed to directly qualify for the
